Metalium Effect – Metallic Decorative Coating

Application Area
Metalium Effect is a water-based decorative metal coating for interior walls.

Features

• Creates unique color variations based on metal powder properties.
• Special resin structure prevents bacteria and fungus growth.
• Applied with a steel trowel for a high-shine, mirror-like finish.
• Can be sanded to perfection in multiple stages.
• Two-component system (A & B) with various metal powders.

Application Instructions

1. Clean the surface from dirt, oil, and peeling paint.
2. Correct imperfections using San Deco Acrylic Putty Interior.
3. Apply San Deco Uniprimer as an undercoat if needed.
4. Mix Component A & B, then gradually add metal powder while stirring.
5. Use a hand mixer for a homogeneous blend and apply within 30-60 minutes.
6. Apply with a steel trowel and allow 24-48 hours for drying.
7. Sanding Process:
   • Stage 1: 220, 320, 400 grit sandpaper.
   • Stage 2: 500, 800 grit sandpaper.
   • Stage 3 (Polishing): 1500, 3000, 6000 grit sandpaper.
   • Clean surface between stages with a dry cloth.
8. For enhanced shine, apply Metalium Effect Wax after polishing.
9. Maintain an ambient temperature of +5°C to +35°C for 24 hours.

• 0.500 – 0.670 m² per 1 kg of product (A, B, and metal powder).
• 1500 – 2000 g/m² paint consumption.
• 50-60 g/m² Metallic Effect Wax consumption.
